FROM FEAR TO FREEDOM: HEALING FROM DISTORTION IN AFRICAN SPIRITUALITY

A 7 week trauma-informed guided journey into healing and integrating the fear and distortion many people have inherited around African Spirituality

WHAT THIS IS

From Fear to Freedom is a guided journey into healing and integrating the fear and distortion many people have inherited around African Spirituality. For generations, stories of curses, witchcraft, personal experiences, spiritual attacks and unseen forces/ enemies have shaped how many understand misfortune, illness and even your own sensitivity to the unseen. When these narratives form the foundation of how we interpret life, they quietly shape your experience of life and how you move through the world. Fear becomes the lens through which events are understood and spiritual power begins to feel as though it lives outside of you rather than within your own life. This work does NOT dismiss your personal unexplainable experiences, nor does it only give you understanding of them. This work begins to reveal and transform the lens through which you have been relating to life.Instead of reinforcing fear-based interpretations, this coaching and teaching program explores a deeper exploration of what is actually happening within your BodyMind system, lineage and the unseen dimensions of your life.Through BodyMind teachings and coaching, embodied integration, ontological inquiry and reflection, you will move through blind spots that have quietly shaped your relationship to spirituality and life itself.Rather than attempting to "fix" or eliminate fear, this work focuses on integrating it so that it no longer becomes the force that silently runs your perception of reality. From this place, something important becomes possible: A relationship to African Spirituality rooted not in inherited fear, but in discernment, maturity and spiritual embodied sovereignty.By the end of this program, you will begin to develop the capacity to meet life (including the unseen dimensions of life) from a place of grounded inner authority.
This is NOT about rejecting tradition or dismissing spiritual experiences. It's about restoring the clarity and power that fear has obscured.
This work invites invites something more challenging and, perhaps, more liberating: The possibility of relating to them from a place of greater discernment, maturity and inner authority.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

1) You grew up hearing about Isichitho, Tokoloshe, people bewitching one another and still feel the deep impacts of those narratives in your body and perception.2) You have experienced spiritual or energetic phenomena and want to get to the root of those experiences through the body and lived experience.3) You are a healer, Sangoma, Spiritual practitioner or you are healing your lineage but sense that fear-based narratives are limiting deeper healing.4) You feel called to restore a more grounded and life-affirming relationship with African Spirituality.

This journey closes with an invitation to step into a more more grounded, discerning relationship with African Spirituality and with life.

YOUR TRANSFORMATION:

Many people enter this work carrying a fear-based relationship with life, spirituality, healing, power, money, relationships and even themselves. When challenges arise, the question often becomes:
"Who did this to me?"
"Who is working against me?"
"Who has the answer?"
Over time, fear becomes the lense through which your life is interpreted. This work offers another possibility. As you move through this journey, you begin to:
-Recognise and outgrow repeating patterns, beliefs and inherited narratives that have shaped how you see yourself and the world.
- You begin experiencing greater internal freedom, stability and self-trust. Emotional and spiritual maturity deepen.
- You experience a quieter sense of clarity and inner peace that emerges in how you meet your life.
The deepest transformation is often not loud.It is the gradual return to inner authority, the point at which you no longer live in constant fear of what may be happening around you, and instead begin relating to life from a more conscious and grounded place within yourself. From this place, you are able to choose how you relate to your spirituality, your ancestry, your relationships, your work, your money and your present moment. Not from fear. But from freedom.

ABOUT ME:

For much of my life, I did not know there was another way to relate to African Spirituality, to relate to myself and even to life. The world I grew up in was one in which spiritual experiences, misfortune, ancestral relationships, bewitchment, healing and the unseen were part of everyday life.
These were not beliefs I consciously adopted. They were simply the reality I inherited and learned to navigate.
Over the years, I encountered experiences that seemed to confirm that reality again and again. Some were deeply personal. Some were difficult to explain. Many intensified my desire to understand what was happening beneath the surface of my reality. My search for understanding eventually led me into deep inner work through BodyMind Ontological Coaching, self-inquiry and into African spiritual traditions through initiation.Yet rather than arriving at answers, I found myself increasingly aware of a deeper pattern. Through repeating experiences and patterns that would not disappear through more knowledge, more spiritual explanations, or simply trying harder, I found myself drawn into a deeper inquiry about perception, fear and the ways we make meaning of our lives.Over time, one question continued to return:"What happens when fear becomes the lens through which we interpret ourselves, our spirituality and the events in our lives?"Many people are taught to seek answers, protection, rituals or explanations. Far fewer are supported in examining the deeper lens through which their experiences are being interpreted in the first place. From Fear to Freedom emerged from that inquiry. My training & Professional Backgound:- Trauma-Informed BodyMind Ontological Coach

WHY THIS WORK WORKS:

Human beings do not simply experience life. We make meaning of it.Overtime, the meanings we attach to experiences can become so familiar that we mistake them for reality itself. This work foes not ask you to deny your experiences or dismiss what has happened in your life. Rather, through inquiry, reflection and BodyMind integration, we begin exploring the lens through which those experiences have been understood. As that lens becomes visible, something begins to shift.New possibilities for discernment, freedom and inner authority become available, not because your experiences disappear, but because your relationship to them changes.

*Nothing changes more profoundly than the moment we begin to see the lens through which we have been living. If you recognise yourself in this work, and feel the limitations of a fear-based relationship with spirituality, life and yourself, join the first cohort of From Fear to Freedom.Doors are now open.
